This was week two of digital painting. A couple of exciting things came from this: we finished our first colored frames and assembled about a second of (rough) animation! We actually have something to show for our work!

One Small Step For Man...

The name of the game this week is Digital Painting! We had our first digital painters come in and learn the tools of the trade from Neil, then practice painting some basic backgrounds. We should have our first fully colored frames next week!

New Newsy News

This week an exciting event occurred:  we drew the first official frames with characters!  Now we have much more than beautifully drawn clouds...we have beautifully drawn characters!

In other words, we have started animating Bystander!
Yesterday, part of the animating crew of Bystander met and had their first drawing session. Needless to say, it was a great success.
