Kickstarting the Animation

Here we are in our last week of preproduction!

This week’s biggest update is that our Kickstarter page is live!

For the unfamiliar, Kickstarter is a great fundraising site where people pledge to donate money to projects in return for rewards.  The project only gets the money if a minimum amount is reached.  This is our primary way of fundraising beyond Studio 22’s grant, and we need all the help we can get.  We really want to make our film to the highest standards and keep our crew happy the whole time, so please donate!  For more information, including our rewards and a short video about our project, please visit our Kickstarter page.

The other news this week is that we had our first full crew meeting tonight, where we went over almost every aspect of the pending production, from process to schedule to the fun things like crew bonding.  Since we want to have one of the best film making experiences this year, there was plenty of food, drawing, and a few other surprises.  Check back in the next few days for an updated crew page!
